WORKSHEET LESSON
Directions:
Print the Feathers reading
comprehension passage and questions (see
below).
Students should read the story,
then answer multiple choice and fill in the blank questions about the story. For beginning readers,
teachers or parents may read the story along with the students, and help
them answer the questions.
Text from reading passage:
Sammy sat at the kitchen table. He tapped his pencil on his paper. The clock chimed. Sammy took a deep breath.
"What's wrong?" Deb said. She never had any trouble with her homework.
Sammy tapped his pencil on his chin, and frowned.
"I have to write a story, but I don't know what to write about."
"Let's go for a walk," cried Deb.
"Deb put on her coat as she looked at Sammy and replied, "Maybe you will get an idea for your story." (continued...)
