PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSON PLAN:
Walk -n- Talk

Objectives:

• To demonstrate moving all the way around the gym floor while walking and talking with a partner.

Suggested Grades:

3rd Grade - 4th Grade - 5th Grade

Lesson Procedure:

Gymnastics mat or pad or gym floor, note card with interview questions

Lesson Excerpt:

During their walk, students will "interview" their partner asking pre-determined questions from the teacher such as: What is your favorite subject? Where were you born? What is your hobby? Upon completing activity, students will have to write the answers from their interview and depend on their memory. After the activity, each student with introduce their partner to the class using the information gained from their "walk -n- talk" session.
