About this worksheet
Science fiction is a story that imagines how science and technology might change the future or other worlds, starting from a ‘what if’ premise. This worksheet teaches the features of the genre and guides students to plan a story.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box teaches the genre with examples. Section A has eight recall questions. Section B on page 2 has four planning prompts.
Page 3 is a complete answer key. The worksheet pairs well with the Writing a Mystery Story and Writing a Setting Description worksheets.
