About this worksheet
A pantoum is a poem made of four-line stanzas in which the second and fourth lines of each stanza become the first and third lines of the next. This worksheet teaches the interlocking, repeating form and has students plan their own, with an illustration.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box teaches the form with examples. Section A has eight recall questions. Section B on page 2 has four planning prompts.
Page 3 is a complete answer key. The worksheet pairs well with the Writing a Villanelle and Refrain and Repetition worksheets.
