About this worksheet
A movie review tells readers what you thought of a film and helps them decide whether to watch it. A good review names the title, gives a short spoiler-free summary, shares an opinion backed by reasons and examples, and ends with a recommendation. This worksheet helps students learn and use those parts.
Section A on page 1 asks eight short questions about the parts and purpose of a movie review. The reference box explains each part, so students have the information they need to answer.
Section B on page 2 has students plan a review of a movie they have seen: title and summary, opinion, a supporting reason with an example, and a recommendation. Page 3 is a complete answer key with sample answers. The skill builds on opinion writing and using reasons.
