About this worksheet
A vowel team is two vowels that work together to make one vowel sound, such as the ai in rain or the ee in tree. This worksheet helps students spot common vowel teams and the sounds they make.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box explains vowel teams with examples. Section A asks students to write the vowel team in each of eight words. Section B on page 2 has four short-response questions.
Page 3 is a complete answer key with answers for every item. The worksheet pairs well with the Long and Short Vowels and Digraphs worksheets.
