About this worksheet
The letters c and g each have a soft sound (like s in city, j in giant) and a hard sound (like k in cat, g in goat), often decided by the next letter. This worksheet teaches the rule and has students classify each sound.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box explains the rule and shows a cat and a giraffe. Section A has eight words to classify. Section B on page 2 has four short questions.
