About this worksheet
When a word ends in a consonant plus y, you change the y to i before most suffixes, but keep the y before -ing, and after a vowel you keep the y. This worksheet teaches the rule and has students apply it.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box states the rule with examples. Section A has eight words to add suffixes to or make plural. Section B on page 2 has four short questions.
