About this worksheet

This worksheet has a crossword with 15 vocabulary words about pharaohs, pyramids, the Nile and writing in ancient Egypt. Each clue is a short definition or fact, numbered Across and Down to match the grid, and no clue prints an answer. The word bank under the clues lists every answer plus three extra words that are not used.

Page 2 is the answer key: the completed grid and every answer by number. It pairs with the Ancient Egypt Word Search Worksheet, which uses many of the same words.

It comes in two editions: a color PDF and a low-ink black-and-white PDF for everyday copying.
