About this worksheet
Pollination is the way pollen moves from one flower to another so a plant can make seeds and fruit. Pollen is a fine powder, and pollinators like bees and butterflies carry it as they visit flowers for nectar, while wind moves it for some plants. This worksheet teaches the process and why it matters for the food we eat.
Section A gives eight true/false statements about pollination, mixing the correct facts (pollination helps plants make seeds; bees can be pollinators) with errors (pollination only happens at night; plants make seeds without pollination). Students decide true or false. The reference box teaches the process but phrases the statements differently.
