About this worksheet
Cellular respiration is how cells release energy from food, breaking down glucose with oxygen inside the mitochondria. This worksheet builds the vocabulary – glucose, oxygen, mitochondria, energy, carbon dioxide, and aerobic – and shows how respiration is the reverse of photosynthesis.
