About This Reading Comprehension Worksheet

This 4-page reading comprehension worksheet features a nonfiction passage titled “Sheep.” Students learn facts about sheep including: that they are herbivores and ruminants; that ewes (females) and rams (males) have distinct names; that sheep can recognize up to 50 other sheep by face for up to two years; that they live in flocks and follow a leader; and that sheep are raised for both meat (mutton) and wool. The passage also explains how wool is harvested and used for clothing.
