About this worksheet
Schedules tell us when things happen and in what order – a skill students use for class timetables, bus times, and event programs. This worksheet gives students a museum field-trip schedule and asks them to read times, identify what comes next, and figure out a couple of simple time gaps.
Section A asks 8 questions answered from the schedule, including arrival time, what activity happens at a given time, what comes after a break, and a short elapsed-time question. Section B adds three short responses, including listing a span of activities in order and a final elapsed-time problem.
The reference box on page 1 explains how schedules are organized; the schedule passage follows, with Section A on the same page. Section B is on page 2, and page 3 is a complete answer key with answers for Section A and sample responses for Section B.
How to Use This Lesson
Read the reference box and schedule aloud, noting that the times run from earliest to latest.
Work Section A independently; have students point to the exact time in the schedule before answering.
Move to Section B and model the elapsed-time question (1:00 to 1:30) with students.
Use the answer key on page 3 for self-check or aide spot-check.
Pair with the Reading a Menu Worksheet or Sequencing Events Worksheet for more practice.
