About this worksheet
A receipt is a printed list of what someone bought and how much it cost, with a subtotal, tax, total, and change. This worksheet has students read a real receipt to find prices and totals.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box shows a store receipt. Section A has eight questions about it. Section B on page 2 has four short-response questions.
Page 3 is a complete answer key. The worksheet pairs well with the Reading a Menu and Reading a Label worksheets.
