About this worksheet

A comic strip tells a story with a row of panels read from left to right, using speech bubbles, thought bubbles, captions, and sound effects. This worksheet teaches students to read and name each part.

The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box defines the parts of a comic strip. Section A has eight clues to match to the correct term. Section B on page 2 has four short-response questions.

Page 3 is a complete answer key with answers for every item. The worksheet pairs well with the Visual Literacy and Sequencing worksheets.
