About this worksheet
A syllabus is a set of rules a student will be held to all year, and the part worth reading closely is the weighting, because the work that counts most is not always the work that takes longest. This worksheet teaches students to read one on purpose rather than skim it.
The reference box, the syllabus, and Section A are all on page 1. The reference box explains grade weighting, the late-work policy, and where to find help. Section A has eight questions answered directly from the document. Section B on page 2 has four short-response questions.
Page 3 is a complete answer key with answers for every item.
