About This Reading Comprehension Worksheet

This 4-page reading comprehension worksheet features a short fiction story called “Lost.” Jack and Becky are playing by the river when they spot a deer and follow it into the forest. After watching the deer reunite with its mother, they realize they have lost track of the river and must find their way back to camp.

Students read the story across pages 1 and 2, then answer multiple-choice comprehension questions on page 3. The answer key appears on page 4.
