About this worksheet

An anti-hero is a main character who lacks the usual heroic qualities and may be selfish, flawed, or willing to break the rules. This worksheet teaches what makes an anti-hero and how it differs from a traditional hero and a villain.

The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box explains the anti-hero with examples. Section A has eight questions to answer. Section B on page 2 has four written-response questions.

Page 3 is a complete answer key with answers for every item. The worksheet pairs well with the Protagonist and Antagonist and Character Motivation worksheets.
