Thirty-two cards, every one with a figure: rectangles ruled into unit squares so area can be counted rather than asserted, missing-side problems, and L-shaped composite figures with all six sides labeled. The missing-side cards are deliberately not drawn to scale, and say so.

What’s included
- 32 numbered task cards, four to a page, ready to cut apart
- A labeled figure on every card, with unit-square grids on the early ones
- Four levels of eight: perimeter, area, missing side, composite figures
- A two-page recording sheet plus a one-page Scoot sheet
- A Teacher Answer Key giving the step as well as the answer
- Color and black & white versions

Classroom use ideas
- Play SCOOT after teaching the formulas, one card per student
- Give the missing-side level to students who already have the formulas cold
- Pair the composite cards with square tiles or grid paper
- Use eight cards as an exit ticket the day before a quiz
