A printable United States map with each state’s two-letter postal abbreviation printed on the state, from AL for Alabama to WY for Wyoming.

What’s included
- All 50 postal abbreviations and DC, each on its own state
- Small eastern states labeled in a column with a line to each
- States shaded in four colors so neighbors never match
- Alaska and Hawaii in boxes, a compass rose and a scale bar
- Color and black & white versions
About these maps
The states are drawn from the U.S. Census Bureau’s state outlines in an equal-area projection, so each state’s size is true compared with the others. Alaska and Hawaii are shown in boxes at the lower left, not in their true places, and Alaska is drawn smaller than its true size.
