A printable 50 states quiz: every state on the US map is numbered, and students write the name of each state on its numbered line. No word bank. Answer key included.

A printable world map worksheet: the seven continents are numbered and the five oceans lettered, and students write each name on its line, using a word bank. Answer key included.
A printable latitude and longitude worksheet: students read the coordinates of ten lettered points on a world grid, name each point's hemispheres, plot four more points, and answer three questions. Answer key included.
Each numbered map is numbered in reading order, from the top of the map down and west to east, and each word bank is in ABC order, so the answers cannot be copied down from the bank. A state too small to hold its number has it printed on the water beside it, with a line to the state. The capitals quiz prints all 50 capitals on each page, so no page can be finished by crossing capitals off. Every sheet ends with an answer key.
Classroom use ideas
Work through one region a week, then give the 50 states quiz.
Study with the 50 states and capitals list before the capitals quiz.
Use the continents and oceans sheet as a pretest on the first day of map skills.
Teach latitude first, then longitude, with the first two lettered points.
The Maps collection has the reference maps these sheets ask about: the US map with state names, states and capitals, the four regions, continents and oceans, and a latitude and longitude world map.
