About this worksheet
A transformation moves a figure on the coordinate plane: a TRANSLATION slides it, a REFLECTION flips it across an axis, and a ROTATION turns it about the origin. This worksheet teaches the three moves and has students find the new coordinates of a point after each one.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box shows a labeled coordinate grid and the rules for each move. Section A has six transformation problems. Section B on page 2 has four word problems.
Page 3 is a complete answer key with the new coordinates for every problem. The worksheet pairs well with the Coordinate Plane Basics and Symmetry worksheets.
