About this worksheet
A square root of a number is a value that, multiplied by itself, gives that number. This worksheet teaches square roots and perfect squares, then has students find the roots of several perfect squares.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box works two examples. Section A has six square roots to find. Section B on page 2 has four word problems, including a square garden.
