About this worksheet

A proportion is an equation that two ratios are equal, and you solve it by cross-multiplying. This worksheet teaches the cross-multiply method and applies it to scaling, recipe, and map problems.

The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box works one example and shows how to check it. Section A has six proportions to solve. Section B on page 2 has four word problems.
