About this worksheet
A one-step equation is solved with a single inverse operation. This worksheet teaches students to undo addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division, doing the same thing to both sides.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box works two examples step by step. Section A has six equations to solve for x. Section B on page 2 has four word problems.
Page 3 is a complete answer key with worked answers for every problem. The worksheet pairs well with the Two-Step Equations and Writing Algebraic Expressions worksheets.
