About this worksheet
On a number line, values increase to the right and decrease to the left, so the integer farther left is always smaller. This worksheet teaches how to compare and order positive and negative integers and how to read negatives in real-world contexts.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box shows how to compare integers and order a set from least to greatest. Section A has six compare-and-order problems. Section B on page 2 has four word problems about temperature, elevation, and depth.
Page 3 is a complete answer key with answers for every problem. The worksheet pairs well with the Adding and Subtracting Integers and Absolute Value worksheets.
