About this worksheet
Multiplication facts 0-5 are the foundation for every later multiplication and division skill in grades 2 and 3. This worksheet practices the same factor pairs in horizontal, vertical, missing-factor, fact-family, and word-problem formats so students build durable, format-independent fluency.
A reference box at the top of page 1 previews four core strategies: any number times 0 is 0, any number times 1 is itself, multiplying by 2 is doubling (with a worked example using factors that do not appear in any assessed item), and multiplying by 5 produces a product that ends in 0 or 5.
Page 3 is a complete answer key that lists all four facts for every triangle and shows the operation line for every missing-factor and word-problem item, which makes it easy for students or aides to spot-check work.
How to Use This Lesson
Warm up by reading the reference box aloud and modeling the doubling example.
Time Section A as a 3-minute fluency check if students are ready.
Use Sections B-D for guided practice, pair-share, or homework.
Use Section E (word problems) as a 5-minute exit ticket.
Use the answer key on page 3 for student self-check or aide spot-check.
