Lesson Overview

About this worksheet

A histogram is a graph that shows how often data falls into equal number intervals, with bars that touch because the intervals are connected ranges. This worksheet teaches students to read a histogram and tells how it differs from an ordinary bar graph.

The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box shows a Test Scores histogram. Section A has eight questions about it. Section B on page 2 has four short-response questions.

Page 3 is a complete answer key. The worksheet pairs well with the Reading a Bar Graph and Frequency Tables worksheets.
