About this worksheet
To divide mixed numbers, you change each one to an improper fraction, then keep the first, change to multiplication, and flip the second to its reciprocal. This worksheet teaches the keep-change-flip method and has students compute and simplify.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box works a mixed-by-fraction example and a mixed-by-mixed example. Section A has six problems. Section B on page 2 has four word problems.
Page 3 is a complete answer key with simplified answers for every problem. The worksheet pairs well with the Dividing Fractions and Multiplying Fractions by Whole Numbers worksheets.
