Lesson Overview
About this worksheet
Whose and who’s sound the same, so writers mix them up. This worksheet teaches the simple test – if you can say ‘who is’ or ‘who has,’ use who’s with an apostrophe; otherwise use whose to show belonging.
The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box explains the test with examples. Section A has eight fill-in-the-blank items. Section B on page 2 has four short-response questions.
Page 3 is a complete answer key with answers for every item. The worksheet pairs well with the Its vs It’s and Your vs You’re worksheets.
How to Use This Lesson
Read the reference box and the whose/who’s test.
Fill in whose or who’s for each item in Section A on page 1.
Answer the four questions in Section B on page 2.
Use the answer key on page 3 for self-check.
Pair with the Its vs It’s Worksheet for another apostrophe pair.
