About this worksheet

In formal writing, small numbers are spelled out and larger numbers use numerals, and any number that begins a sentence is spelled out. This worksheet teaches these style rules so students’ writing looks clean and consistent.

The reference box and Section A are on page 1. The reference box explains the rules with examples. Section A has eight items to complete. Section B on page 2 has four questions.
