8th Grade Angles with Parallel Lines Exit Tickets gives you six ready-to-print exit tickets for the angles with parallel lines unit. One ticket closes each of its four lessons, and the last two are reviews. Each ticket is three math questions on a half sheet, with room to work under each one: three to five minutes, no preparation, and an answer key you can sort a class set against at a glance.

Print a page, cut along the dashed line, and hand out one ticket. What comes back tells you who to reteach tomorrow. Grade 8. 4 pages, included with a full membership.

What the six tickets cover

  • Ticket 1: Corresponding angles
  • Ticket 2: Alternate interior angles
  • Ticket 3: Same-side interior angles
  • Ticket 4: Exterior angles of a triangle
  • Ticket 5: Review of the unit
  • Ticket 6: Review of the unit, second try

Pairs with the Bell Ringers

In the 8th Grade Math Bell Ringers — Week 11, ticket 1 pairs with Monday, ticket 2 with Tuesday and ticket 3 with Wednesday: the warm-up opens a lesson and the ticket closes it, on the same skill with different numbers. Thursday’s warm-up, on corresponding angles written with x, has no ticket of its own; ticket 1 builds on it. Tickets 1 and 2 go one step further than their warm-ups: each angle is an expression in x. Ticket 4, on exterior angles of a triangle, pairs with the Week 12 Friday warm-up. Tickets 5 and 6 review the unit: one question each on corresponding angles, same-side interior angles and exterior angles of a triangle. Ticket 6 asks the same three things with new numbers, for the students you retaught after ticket 5.

More for this grade: all 8th grade math exit tickets, twelve units in the order the Bell Ringers teach them.
