What is in this week
Systems of Equations — substitution, elimination, and how many solutions there are. Every day is one focused task, four items, with the rule printed at the top of the page.
- Monday — Solve each system by substitution.
- Tuesday — Solve each system by elimination.
- Wednesday — Is it a solution? Write yes or no.
- Thursday — How many solutions? one, none or infinite.
- Friday — Solve each problem.
How to use it
Print the packet once and hand out one page a day, or project it. Students can start before the lesson begins because the rule they need is on the page. Friday returns to week 6, so a Friday dip points at the earlier skill rather than this week’s. Mark them together on the board; these are a warm-up, not something to collect.
