What is in this week
Prefixes and Suffixes — the parts that change a word’s meaning and its job. Every day is one focused task, four items, with the rule printed at the top of the page.
- Monday — What does each prefix mean?
- Tuesday — What does each prefix mean?
- Wednesday — What part of speech does the suffix make?
- Thursday — Add the suffix and write the new word.
- Friday — Rewrite each sentence to fix the tense shift.
How to use it
Print the packet once and hand out one page a day, or project it. Students can start before the lesson begins because the rule they need is on the page. Friday returns to week 4, so a Friday dip points at the earlier skill rather than this week’s. Mark them together on the board; these are a warm-up, not something to collect.
