Percents — percent of a number, and the forms a percent takes. Every day is one focused task, four items, with the rule printed at the top of the page.
- Monday — Find each percent of a number.
- Tuesday — Write each percent as a decimal or a fraction.
- Wednesday — Find the whole from a part.
- Thursday — What percent is it?
- Friday — Find each unit rate.
How to use it
Print the packet once and hand out one page a day, or project it. Students can start before the lesson begins because the rule they need is on the page. Friday returns to week 1, so a Friday dip points at the earlier skill rather than this week’s. Mark them together on the board; these are a warm-up, not something to collect.
