What is in this week
Prepositional Phrases — the little words that place things. Every day is one focused task, four items, with the rule printed at the top of the page.
- Monday — Write the prepositional phrase in each sentence.
- Tuesday — Write the preposition in each sentence.
- Wednesday — Write the subject of each sentence.
- Thursday — Write the prepositional phrase in each sentence.
- Friday — Write the verb that finishes each sentence.
How to use it
Print the packet once and hand out one page a day, or project it. Students can start before the lesson begins because the rule they need is on the page. Friday is a cumulative check on the same focus. Mark them together on the board; these are a warm-up, not something to collect.
