What is in this week
Topic Sentences — the sentence a paragraph is built around. Every day is one focused task, four items, with the rule printed at the top of the page.
- Monday — Write the topic sentence.
- Tuesday — Write the sentence that does NOT belong.
- Wednesday — Write a topic sentence for the details.
- Thursday — Write T for a topic sentence or D for a detail.
- Friday — Write C if the word is correct or X if it is not.
How to use it
Print the packet once and hand out one page a day, or project it. Students can start before the lesson begins because the rule they need is on the page. Friday returns to week 11, so a Friday dip points at the earlier skill rather than this week’s. Mark them together on the board; these are a warm-up, not something to collect.
