Twelve weeks of math warm-ups, in order. Each week takes one strand across five days; Friday returns to the week before.

• Week 1: Place Value to a Million — reading and writing big numbers. Free
• Week 2: Multi-Digit Multiplication — growing past the facts.
• Week 3: Division and Remainders — when it does not come out even.
• Week 4: Fractions with Like Denominators — adding parts of the same whole.
• Week 5: Comparing and Ordering Numbers — which is bigger, and how you know.
• Week 6: Perimeter and Area — around the edge, and across the middle.
• Week 7: Adding and Subtracting Large Numbers — four-digit columns and regrouping across them.
• Week 8: Mixed Numbers with Like Denominators — adding and subtracting a whole and a part together.
• Week 9: Number Patterns and Rules — finding the step and using it.
• Week 10: Dividing Larger Numbers — sharing into equal groups, with and without a remainder.
• Week 11: Factors and Multiples — what divides a number, and what it divides into.
• Week 12: Rounding Large Numbers — to the thousand and beyond.

Twelve weeks of grammar, usage, mechanics and vocabulary. Each day is four items on one skill, with the rule printed above them.

• Week 1: Subject and Predicate — the two halves every sentence splits into. Free
• Week 2: Verb Tenses — when it happened, and how the verb shows it.
• Week 3: Pronouns — the words that stand in for a name.
• Week 4: Quotation Marks in Dialogue — showing the words somebody actually said.
• Week 5: Adverbs — how, when and where the action happened.
• Week 6: Fixing Run-On Sentences — where one sentence should have ended.
• Week 7: Showing Ownership — the apostrophe that means it belongs to.
• Week 8: Comparing with -er and -est — two things, or more than two.
• Week 9: Helping Verbs — the verb in front of the main verb.
• Week 10: Compound Sentences — two complete thoughts joined properly.
• Week 11: Choosing the Right Word — words that sound alike in a sentence.
• Week 12: Topic Sentences — the sentence a paragraph is built around.

What a bell ringer is

One focused task at the start of a class period, done before the lesson begins. It is not a worksheet with three sections and it is not a test — it is four questions on a single skill, with the rule printed above them so students can start while you take attendance.

Every packet here is five days. Monday to Thursday sit on that week’s focus; Friday returns to the previous week, so a Friday dip tells you which skill has faded rather than which one is new.
