What is in this week
End Marks and Sentence Types — what the punctuation at the end tells you. Every day is one focused task, four items, with the rule printed at the top of the page.
- Monday — Write the end mark each sentence needs.
- Tuesday — Write statement, question, command or exclamation.
- Wednesday — Write the end mark each sentence needs.
- Thursday — Write statement, question, command or exclamation.
- Friday — Write the words that need a capital letter.
How to use it
Print the packet once and hand out one page a day, or project it. Students can start before the lesson begins because the rule they need is on the page. Friday returns to week 2, so a Friday dip points at the earlier skill rather than this week’s. Mark them together on the board; these are a warm-up, not something to collect.
