Lesson Excerpt
You can learn to use your senses to forecast the weather. By making careful observations of what is happening around you, you will soon learn what signs of coming weather look like. For instance, if the weather is warm, the sky is sunny, and there are not clouds in the sky, you can be pretty sure it will stay that way for at least several hours.
If you make careful observations and keep records of the weather along with them, you will soon see what changes in the weather you can predict. Watch the clouds, because clouds can tell you a lot about the weather. Different kinds of clouds mean different types of weather. Identifying clouds and the weather that comes with each type is a great way to predict the weather.
