DICTIONARY VOCABULARY GAMES:
NAME ME!

A dictionary definition word game for two to four players.

In this game, the pupils land on a letter. Then they have to guess what the word is when another pupil reads out of the dictionary a definition of a word beginning with that letter.

DICTIONARY NAME GAME LESSON PLAN

Materials

Name Me Game - Printable lesson plan.
A piece of paper or card measuring 28cm X 28cm
A smaller piece of card for the counters
A ruler
A pencil and colored pens
A dice
A dictionary
Scrap paper for keeping score

Similar to ‘spell me' and also for two to four players.

The board used is the same as the board used for ‘Spell me'.

The dictionary will need to be of an appropriate level.
