Text from the story:
"But I wanted to wear the pearls tonight," said Betty Finch. "Where could they be?"
"Don't worry Mrs. Finch," said Detective Nash. He was visiting his friends, the Finches. "I'll find your necklace," he said. "Look, here is a clue." He pointed to a white, powdery fingerprint on the safe. "Who else knows that the safe is here?"
"My family, my butler, my cook, and my maid," said Mrs. Finch. "My maid, Betty, likes the pearls a lot. Maybe she took them."
