LESSON AND WORKSHEET
INSTRUCTIONS
Students should first say each word out loud.
Then, they should write the first letter of each word by listening
to the sound and identifying the short vowel sound. Finally, write the entire word in the space
provided (optional). Specific letters, and upper or lower
case may be chosen.
This worksheet may be customized depending on
the student's skill level. Begin with a limited set of
short vowel word sounds. Since this is a random worksheet, and
multiple worksheets with the same letter choices may be generated,
continue to repeat the same worksheet until the short vowels are
mastered. Then gradually use new short vowel sounds, or increase the number of
short vowel sounds.
You may wish to keep prior letter choices to build student confidence.
Continue until all short vowel sounds are mastered.
This is a random worksheet. A
new worksheet is created every time you press the button
below. Create multiple worksheets for additional practice
for your students.
